Woah .... it's a bit high !
Sometimes we need a little help from the grown ups to help us on and step from one stone to another.
We have also been doing more climbing and balancing in the garden with the large crates and low level wooden blocks.This helps us build our strong bones and muscles !!!
Slowly...Slowly walking and balacing along the plank.
Holding on to the crates helped me to stay stood up and walk along.
Exploring the water using sponges, bottles and water wheels.
I enjoyed pouring the water from one bottle to another, then pouring it into the water tray where it went Splash !!!!!
Using the water to fill the bottle and then pour it in the water wheel and water it go round and round.
We all squeezed, watched and tried to catch the water going drip...drip....drip from the sponges.
Playing musical instruments !!
I like the drum it goes bang bang!!
Also playing music using ICT
I liked to press the keys and babble into the microphone and hear my voice.
I say! What artistic children we have. These will look fantastic in our Display.
We may have some future artists in this Nursery!
Let's see... what to do on a sunny day such as this? Setting up our very own Pepperbox Nursery Water Park is certainly a good start! All we need are a couple of slides that lead into the Tuff Tub filled with water and a very long water hose.
Buckets, pots, cups, tubs, squirters, watering cans and giant syringes were all put into good use... there was water everywhere!
Later on in the day, the children still have not had enough of water play so we decided to make and look after some lovely squeezy water balloons.
Uh-oh... it's exploded. Quick, run away!
Water Fun Outdoors
I like to splash the water and watch it go everywhere !
Filling the buckets up with water and ducks.
Using different tools to scoop up the water and see which tool is most effective in holding water ......
ooops this rake has holes in !
We like to play and listen to music !
Shake the instruments..... listen.... each one makes a different sound !
It gets really noisy sometimes!!
