Leavers Party 2013
Leavers' Party
It's that time of year again when we have a big send-off for the children who are leaving for their respective BIG schools.
We walked to the Frome Town Football Club to have a bit of fun. Our entertainer was so funny. He did lots of magic tricks and everyone was amazed.
We played a game where the boys and girls had to collect as many balls as they could and at the end we had to see who had won... the boys or the girls!
We danced like penguins. The best penguin dancer got a penguin balloon.
We had lots of party food. It was yummy!
Before the Magic Man went, he chose a volunteer little girl to say who it was that will choose to get a custard pie in the face. It backfired because she chose the Magic Man!
This made us all laugh really loud.

Enjoying the warm weather!
We have been making the most of this lovely weather with lot's of fun activities outside.
We make sure the garden is watered every day to help the vegetables grow.
We used the big blocks to make an aeroplane! Lot's of role play about holidays and sharing our own holiday stories.
Fun in the sprinkler helped cool us off when it got very hot!

The children used the climbing arch and blue plastic to make a waterfall |
Paddling our feet in cold water has been a great way to cool down and it's lot's of fun!
In Panda Room we have been.....
Making marks on a largescale piece of paper !!
We chose our own colours and made lots of marks on the paper.
Here we helped each other build the boat by putting the shapes on top of each other.
Awwwww ... this ones heavy, can you
help me lift it up?.
We then sat down and sang a few boat songs...
" If you see a crocodile, dont forget to scream.... ARGH".
We then made our own boats (and horses) using the other shaped soft play.
We have also had the lime green jelly out (frozen and normal) with icecubes.
We used wooden spoons and spatula's to explore the jelly.
However, when we smelt it we used our hands to squeeze it and taste it .... it was yummy !!
